KCOnline is the home of flexible, Internet based learning for Kilmarnock College. The Internet allows learning to take place whenever and wherever you wish. At Kilmarnock College we have embraced the possibilities of the Internet to enhance the learning of our students, and to allow those who would find it difficult or impossible to attend traditional courses, the flexibility they require.
KCOnline provides reliable, safe and secure access to a wide range of courses. To enhance your experience, KCOnline makes use of many innovative features including messaging, chat rooms, forums, quizzes, video/images and many more. It is not just a place to access teaching material though, it is a place to communicate and socialise with your tutors and fellow students.
KCOnline can be used in a variety of ways. It may be used by full-time students to supplement and add flexibility to their normal studies. It may be used by part time students as an essential part of their course, for example to reduce the required time in college. It can also be used by distance and remote students who can study completely online without the need to travel to college. KCOnline is active 24/7 and students can access at home, work, internet café or anywhere there is Internet access.
